Common Name: Moringa, Horse Radish Tree, Drumstick Tree, Drumstick Tree
Chemical constituents: The  main constituents of Moringa plant are : deic, palmitic and stearic  acid, saponins, glycoside, gum, protein, Vitamins  and Minerals .  The  leaves, flowers and pods are significant sources of vitamins A, B and C,  riboflavin, nicotinic acid, folic acid, pyridoxine, ascorbic acid,  beta-carotene, calcium, iron, and alpha-tocopherol.  
Uses:
The roots are emmenagogue, diuretic, ophthalmic, expectorant and stimulant.
 They are useful in dyspepsia, anorexia, verminosis, diarrhoea, colic and  flatulence.
It is used in cough, asthma, bronchitis, epilepsy and cardiopathy.
Leaves are anti-inflammatory, anodyne and anthelmintic.
